Ultimate Brownie Recipe with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

Brownies:

  • 1 cup AP Flour
  • 1 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 12 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 4 oz Chocolate Wafers
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla paste

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

Toppings:

  • Freeze dried raspberries

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate and butter. Microwave at half power in 30-second increments until the chocolate and butter are melted.

Once melted, whisk the mixture until smooth. Then, add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, folding in until well combined. Next, incorporate the eggs, vanilla paste, and milk. Set the mixture aside until ready to use.

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until the batter is thoroughly combined.

Pour the batter into a parchment-lined 9 by 13-inch pan, spreading it evenly to the corners. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

While the brownies are baking, prepare your cream cheese frosting.

Once the brownies are done baking, let them cool for about 10 to 15 minutes. Afterward, use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut them into heart shapes.

Top the brownies with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with crumbled dried raspberries. Enjoy!
